Grant Services (Office of Sponsored Programs and Research)
The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR), a division of Academic Affairs, assists faculty and staff with obtaining external grant awards from government agencies at all levels (federal, state, and city) and from private foundations that offer fellowships and support research. OSPR notifies faculty and staff of grant opportunities and deadlines, presents workshops on proposal writing, and assists grant applicants with proposal preparation. This assistance includes management of the internal proposal review process and proposal sign off by an authorized institutional representative. Set up of new grant awards and post-award management services are accomplished in cooperation with the Office of the Controller.
