Ombudsperson

The Office of the University Ombudsperson, a division of the Office of Mission & Values, is a resource for employees experiencing work-related disputes, uncertainty about a university policy, or any other work-related difficulty. The office provides confidential, informal assistance to faculty and staff in resolving conflict through facilitation or conversation.

The Office of the University Ombudsperson is a confidential, independent, and neutral resource. It cannot impose solutions but can help identify options and strategies for resolution or facilitate discussion when divisive issues challenge the university community. The Ombudsperson also offers mediation services and provides workshops on conflict resolution at DePaul.

For immediate inquiries, please contact the Office of the University Ombudsperson by phone at 312/362-8707 or via e-mail at ombuds@depaul.edu For all other information, please see the Web site at http://mission.depaul.edu/
